Company History
In 1957, with an old pickup truck and a few pieces of equipment, R.H. Garrett, Sr. founded Garrett Paving Company. The company has grown over the years to become one of the most recognized providers of quality asphalt paving services in the nation.
ORIGINS
R.H. Garrett, Sr.
R.H. Garrett, Sr.’s original vision for Garrett Paving Company was to provide top quality asphalt pavement and paving services at a reasonable price with excellent customer service. Garrett’s asphalt paving business prospered and quickly moved from purely residential service to include commercial and government asphalt paving projects.
GROWTH
A Family Business
The company grew throughout the decades which followed under the management of son Rick Garrett, helping ready Northeast Georgia for the 1996 summer Olympics and securing paving contracts for the Mall of Georgia in Buford, GA. The projects were completed on time and on budget.

Today, with grandson Blake Haagen leading the company, Garrett Paving Company is a leader in asphalt paving throughout Northeast Georgia. Garrett Paving Company is located in Athens, GA and is fully staffed with experienced asphalt paving professionals and our own maintained equipment.

We use all of our resources to finish your paving project quickly with the least amount of disruption to your business or home, a feat others simply can not accomplish without the quality manpower and equipment we maintain onsite.

We are a single-source contractor based locally in Athens, serving North Georgia. Garrett Paving Company is fully licensed, bonded, and insured.
